GROUP A

  • A currently practicing Chiropractor.

  • Be training in or graduated from a recognised teaching Chiropractic Institution, University or School or Academics and teaching staff concerned with the teaching and principles of Chiropractic studies.

  • An Australian resident.


Domain names prefix in the www.chiropractic.com.au must:

  • Be very closely matched to:

    1. The Practitioners first name, surname, company, business or trading name; or

    2. The words comprising the Practitioners Australian Registered Trade Mark or application for an Australian Registered Trade Mark; or

  • 3. The Practitioners regional, suburban or geographical location.

  • Be an acronym or abbreviation of (1) or (2) above;

  • Be otherwise closely and substantially connected to the Practitioner because the domain name refers to:

    1. A Chiropractic product that the Practitioners manufactures or sells; or

    2. A Chiropractic service that the Practitioners provides; or

    3. A Chiropractic event that the Practitioners organises or sponsors; or

    4. A Chiropractic activity that the Practitioners facilitates, teaches or trains; or

    5. A Chiropractic venue that the Practitioners operates; or

    6. A Chiropractic profession that the Practitioners employees practice.


Composition of Domain Names: Domain names must:

  • Be at least 2 characters long;

  • Contain only letters (a-z), numbers (0-9) and hyphens (-), or a combination of these;

  • Start and end with a number or a letter, not a hyphen;

  • Not contain hyphens in the third and fourth position (eg. ab--cd.com.au).


Domain Name Allocation:

  • Domain names are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. It is not possible to pre-register or otherwise reserve a domain name.


Number of domain names:

  • There is no restriction on the number of domain names that may be licensed by a Practitioner.

  • An Australian registered company that is directly connected to the Chiropractic profession; or

  • Trading under a registered business name in any Australian State or Territory which is directly connected to the Chiropractic profession; or

  • An Australian partnership or sole trader directly connected to the Chiropractic profession; or

  • An owner of an Australian Registered Trade Mark directly connected to the Chiropractic profession; or

  • An applicant for an Australian Registered Trade Mark directly connected to the Chiropractic profession; or

  • An association incorporated in any Australian State or Territory directly connected to the Chiropractic profession; or

  • An Australian commercial statutory body directly connected to the Chiropractic profession.


Domain names prefix in the www.chiropractic.com.au must:

  • Be very closely matched to:

    1. The applicants company, business, trading, association or statutory body name; or

  • 2. The words comprising the applicants Australian Registered Trade Mark or application for an Australian Registered Trade Mark.

  • Be an acronym or abbreviation of (1) or (2) above;

  • Be otherwise closely and substantially connected to the applicants, because the domain name refers to:

    1. A Chiropractic product that the applicants manufactures or sells; or

    2. A Chiropractic service that the applicants provides; or

    3. A Chiropractic event that the applicants organises or sponsors; or

    4. A Chiropractic activity that the applicant facilitates, teaches or trains; or

    5. A Chiropractic venue that the applicants operates; or

    6. A Chiropractic profession that the applicant's employees practice.
